Event Details

Morovitz's new book tells the story of his mother's passion to establish a church and orphanage in Japan after World War II.  When John was assigned a Japanese pen pal in 1947, little did he expect that his new friend's mother would begin a correspondence with his mother that would transcend the lingering hostility between the two countries and result in an appreciation for the woman they affectionately refered to as "Aunt Ruth."

Books will be available for purchase and signing following the program.  The cost is $10 with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Japanese church and orphanage which still exist today.
