Auto Renewal Will Save You Time and Money

We know that sometimes it's hard to remember to get to the library by your item due date.  We want to make it easy for you to renew your material and avoid late fees, so we've added auto-renewal on all items belonging to the Shiawassee District Library.  

As long as another patron has not requested the item you have out, we will automatically renew books up to two times; DVDs are allowed one renewal.  If you've signed up for text or email notices from the library, we'll notify you when a renewal attempt is made and whether it was successful or not.  

We are unfortunately not able to automatically renew items you have borrowed items from another library (MelCat).
